I was hunting for a Melodrip and couldn’t find one in Europe without paying 40 to 50 bucks for shipping. Kaffebox had one, and while I was there I saw the Nordics Best Roaster tasting set and added it to the cart too.

Ten 50g tubes, one per finalist, all roasted from the exact same green beans. I’ve been running them through my Hario Switch, V60 style.

The fruitiness is all over the map. Some are explosively fruity, others hardly fruity at all. The roaster’s share of the final taste is way bigger than I would have guessed.

First tasting set for me. The Sourced Coffee set is next, where each roaster picks their own beans. Can’t wait.
